Well, Alec made his appearance at 5:00 this morning. 5 lb, 14 oz. I don't know his middle name, but apparently everyone's doing well, and it's a good thing--a God-thing--that he came when he did, because apparently his umbilical cord was knotted somehow.

Anyways, I'm still at Ryan and Jeana's. Allison and I both ended up sleeping here, and then she went down to get her own kids off to school this morning. I'm still here--Caden just went down for his nap, and I'll probably leave sometime this afternoon. Originally, last night, I was thinking that I'd probably go home after sleeping here, but I doubt it--I'll probably just pick Lourenzo up from school and then go home from there.

Last night, I channel surfed for the first time in months. Seriously--Alexandra doesn't have cable, and the TV is out of the way, so I don't watch that much actual TV. If I watch anything, it's a dvd, or a show that I've downloaded to my computer, so I haven't just surfed through all the syndicated re-runs for a long time. Since I moved here.

I tried to comment this AM, wanting to know how everything turned out! But it wouldn't bring up the comment section quickly enough, so I couldn't. I tried to look at yesterday's comments again, and they didn't come up until I was on to something else.

Congratulations to the parents! Yes, God works even in the timing of things, we see once again.

Holly's valentine came today (or at least I picked it up today), but I haven't showed it to her yet (or read it myself)! Am also ready to ship two more eBay books out.

Sleep well in your own bed!

Love,
Mom

Man, at first I thought you were going to say something like she had her baby at the meeting and you all had to assist. That would have been quite the adventure!

No, nothing nearly that exciting! That would have been quite the eventful Life Group, though! This all happened after, really... so I got to their building at 7:00 Tuesday night, and didn't leave until 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. A little longer than I was expecting...

Lida,

My long lost best friend:( I don't have long distance they hooked it up and than unhooked it thinking we moved again. Silly people. So we are now awaiting them to hook it back up. I feel we will never chat. I however am in the middle of writing a huge email to my bestest friend ever. So much to say...so much to hear about. I won't be home tonight...surprise surprise but tommorow night I am at home for the first time in ages. So if you want to try again, please call me, I like hearing that you called...it makes me feel connected.

LOVE YOU BABE
Kathy
