Until the cows come home
Can I just tell you how hilarious I think it is that footless tights under skirts are back? Especially the lace-trimmed ones. I was taken crashing back to my childhood when I saw a display in a store today.
Ladies and gentlemen, The 80's.
(Are they back in style anywhere but NYC yet? Just out of curiousity...)

I haven't noticed that (haven't been looking, either), but I'm pretty sure I saw someone wearing a skirt with pants under it the other day. In my day, that was called wearing snow pants under my school dress, and I did everything I could to avoid it (while still obeying my mother, of course) because it looked dorky! I'll try to keep my eyes open.
Mom
I haven't seen them here in Waterloo either (although this isn't exactly trendy capital of the world!). I'll keep an eye out next time we're in Toronto.
I saw a girl wearing them at the movie showing place today (but not the lace ones). That same girl's sister pronounced Nacho Libre, "Nacho Libber". Oy!
Well, pants under a skirt have been around (and "in) for at least 4 years or so, Mom. That's nothing new... especially if it's something like slim-fitting jeans or old-man pants under a slip-syle skirt or a straight-cut skirt of some sort.
They still look like snow pants to me. . . just as lace-trimmed leggings will always look like the 80s to you!
