On a day like today

I wore my Canada hoodie today, and three different people sang "O Canada" to me.

They were all, however, the pastors at my church. Not quite as much fun as random strangers.

You'd think I'd have a better entry than this after not posting for 4 days, but... not so much.

Oh! (not Canada). I am going out for coffee or something with Kim tonight, though, which is beyond exciting, since I haven't seen her in about 4 weeks. We just keep missing each other, being out of town on alternate weekends... I seriously don't think I've seen her since Easter Sunday.

I had to pull some music for a musical at work today, and I was looking for specific songs in specific keys... and let me tell you, it's been a while since I actually thought through which key signatures belong to which keys. I haven't played scales in a while, and when I play music, I go with the key signature, and with that, I don't actually have to think about the key itself. It took me a few minutes to get back into that mindset--seriously, it's been so long since I actually sat down and did any written theory.

Hope you had fun with Kim. We had supper with her after Easter, remember? That's still been a long time, though!

Hope you found your music. . . esp. "Home Fires"! (It was a t-shirt in a bag of clothes.)
