You've gotta be a little nuts
I meant to post these earlier--pictures of my Arts Admin classmates... all of us crazies who willingly submitted ourselves to that!
(And if you haven't gotten that far yet, make sure you scroll down and see the entry from earlier today!!)
Alida, Vicky, Jeeye, Janet, and Joey.
Most of the class at our "closing reception" (which, inexplicably, took place on the Thursday night before our last Friday class): Back, L to R: Vicky, Youn Mi, Edward, Ria, Jeeye, Joey. Front: Janet, Brent, Susan, Betsey, Alida, Susan.
The Boys (Joey, Edward, and Brent), proving that there are exponentially more girls than guys in the arts. Always. Not great stats for those of us still looking.
Edward and his glasses. Look closely. This just proves the strain of this course--until we were into the second week, he didn't need 2 pairs (or bifocals, as the case may have been), but there was so much reading and so many notes that he soon did. Now there's a tagline: NYU Arts Administration Intensive Certificate: Destroying Eyesight since 1994.
Alida, Jeeye, Susan, Ria, Brent, and Vicky, the night before it ended, at Johnny Rocket's after the reception. We were soaking wet--got caught in a thunderstorm with 3 umbrellas between the 6 of us on our way to the restaurant. And then the waiters danced for us, and much fun and laughter ensued. It was probably the most relaxed any of us had been since we started the program!
I think this is all of us. Eh, not quite, but I don't have one with everyone. But here, we have... Back row: Betsey, Susan, Edward, Geri (our Fundraising prof), Olympia, Alex (standing in the very back), Susan (in front of Alex), and Mariana. Middle: Youn Mi, Brent, Jeeye, and Ria. Front: Vicky, Joey, Alida, Janet.
And that's us. At least, as many pictures as I'm sure you care to see. I've got more, but I doubt anyone cares that much!
