And scene.
Hmmm.
I am a boring person. These days, that's about it.
I watched the Heroes (or here) pilot yesterday. If you want it, leave a comment, and I'll pass it on. It looks good, but that's not really a discussion for this blog, now is it? Speaking of the other one, I watched almost the entire third season of American Dreams in one weekend, and posted a huge long thing about my thoughts. But then again, no one here is probably interested anyway, since I don't think any of you actually watched that show.
Three more days at the bank. Then we'll see what my next job is. I have no idea, but I'll probably talk to my placement advisor tomorrow and see what she has to say.
Adina and I are going to see John Tucker Must Die this weekend, or maybe next weekend, but soon. Yes, it's a cheesy teen movie, but it has Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay from Gilmore Girls), Brittany Snow (Meg from American Dreams), and Penn Badgley (Owen from Bedford Diaries), so we just had to plan to see it together. It wouldn't work otherwise. And I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be quite as much fun with anyone else who didn't have the same appreciation for all of the shows.
Apparently, I really, really, really like IMDb today. What? It's cool. So is wikipedia, but that has nothing to do with anything right now.
Hee. I need coffee. Or something.
You wouldn't believe how much writing I'm doing at this placement. I don't have internet, and there's not always something to do, so I write. A lot. And email Adina back and forth. A lot. But mostly write. I think that I've almost rivaled a NaNo level of writing. In 7 days of work (5 last week, 2 so far this week), I've written two chapters of the multi-chapter that I'm working on, as well as two one-shots. I haven't totaled the words, but it's nearing a 1667/day average.
Have I mentioned yet that I'm going to miss netflix when I move? Well, I am. A lot. Why doesn't Canada have it yet? Does Canadian Blockbuster have their mail-order movie rentals, like they do here? I can't remember. Or maybe I never knew.
Chris asked me to fill in at Roy's office for him on Friday and yesterday, and I had to turn him down, because I already had a placement, but I would have loved to have gone back into the office for a few days. I'll have to call him and get together for lunch before I leave, maybe.
Aaaaaaaannnnnddddd.... cut.

Hi Alida,
It sounds like you are finding some time to rest and have fun! That is good. I look forward to hearing from you via email soon.
God Bless,
Laurel
Canada has it's own version of Netflix. I forget what it is, but I for sure saw a commercial for it. I'd be interested in seeing that Heroes bit. Is it the one when the girl falls/jumps off the bridge just to see if she won't die?
Oh, and as of July 27th, we get WPIX, so you won't have to miss a bit of it!
Oh, and if you haven't seen The New World, you should watch it. I think you'd like it. And I found another "Alida" movie to watch, but now I can't remember what it was.
Yay for WPIX!! Heroes is actually on NBC, but other shows will be on CW (which is what the WB is becoming), so that's good.
Yeah, that's Heroes. I'll forward you the yousendit link to the pilot. I'm not sure if the link has expired, but if it has, I'll re-upload it for you.
Hey babe,
Check out zip.ca as well as this page that lists some other companies.

(I love Google!)
I should read links more before I post, eh? Don't go with zip.ca
I totally am going to see JT Must Die this weekend to. It may be cheesy but it seems like a must watch.
